Have you ever had something that reminded you of that specific day or time of year, maybe a season in your life? You know that feeling you get when you smell something or look at something that reminded you of that moment in time? This has happen to me a few times this week, it was a smell that reminded of a particular time in my life…I love those moments that take you back into time. Ahhh…sweet sweet times.
All this week I’ve been thinking a lot , my mind has been filled with thoughts, I even dream about them. Just a lot of shifts and changes that will take place within a few weeks that has got me in silence. It’s like going up a rollercoaster…”clank, clank, jerk, jerk…get reeeeaaady!” the feelings you get when going up a rollercoaster…nervousness, little scared, excited, stomach turns…it’s also the view you see from that position…you’re like WOW! What a view, I can see
what I’m about to get into, I can also see the beauty from being up here, the view of the city, the view of the people, it’s breath taking. BUT then…your focus changes and you become aware that you’re at the very tip of the drop, you suddenly grip the handle bars and you brace yourself to what’s about to take place. Finally there’s that 3 second hold, that seems forever and you catapult into twist, turns and surprises…diving this way and that way…you scream, you laugh, you sometimes cry, you worry, you shout, you smile, you say to yourself “this is awesome!” and then no sooner then you started, it all comes to an end.
Moments in life can be that way…I’m currently going up the rollercoaster and I’m excited, nervous, little scared and looking ahead to what’s about to take place. There’s no stopping now, there’s no going back…up and away we go.
