Today in prayer before our special Night of Worship in Real Life I was struck and reminded about God's presence.
Many of us in ministry are so wrapped up with the production and schedule of the service or organization that we tend to by pass the invitation of the presence of God or we "create" an image of His presence but never really experience or allow Him to operate the way He wants to operate.
I was reminded that without His presence there's really nothing to look forward to. All the preparation is in vain and we are basically performing and not really making any impact.
In His presence anything can happen. Miracles, healing, deliverance, restoration, freedom, empowerment, called and so much more. I love His presence, I feel safe, I feel free, I feel closer to Him when I'm in the midst of His presence.
We must invite the Presence of God in all that we do, our family, our friends, our conversations, our services, our homes, our schools, we must continually welcome the presence of God because we know that the opportunities to act upon what God desires is limitless.
It is why we cry out, less of me and more of Him. Its why we crucify the flesh and allow the spirit to move. Man can not create the presence, man can not do what the Presence of God can do.
Stop doing it in your own strength, you'll get tired and just give up, you'll get discouraged and just lapse and re-visit your situation. Invite His presence into your situation and allow God to flow and perform what needs to be done, get your hands off of it and let God do his thing. Stop looking at man, man will disappoint you, man will fail you but instead look at God, believe and trust what He can do in your life.
Let His Presence transform you, His Presence can change and shift your circumstance and your atmosphere.
So I encourage you to stop what your doing and take a moment to invite the Presence of God, go after it, get hungry for it and watch God rock your world!
