The LOVE...

Good-bye 2008 and hello 2009! A new beginning arises from the horizon a new fresh start of life. Another year lived and another one arrives giving us another chance to take life and it's moments to the fullest. As I flashed back to all of what occured in 2008, I smile :). Lot's have occured and have been established in my life that has gotten me to the where I am today. Each piece, each person, moment and time puzzeled together to make LIFE in 2008. Where would I be without the challenges, the people, my on going relationship with Jesus and the roads taken? hmm...Where would you be?...

This year I declare a year of LOVE...God's love. As I was driving to work one morning after just a few days into the new year, I heard a song that laid out this year's desire in my life...LOVE. To love like Jesus did. To experience His Love for us and to Love on those that need it the most. A Love that never fails, A Love that is Patient and Kind. A Love that does not boast, Love that has no limits. Love that's pure and passionate. Love that breaks the darkeness and brings the light. God's Love!


"God, give me the Love that you have for your people so that I may have your heart to love on others the way you do. God, let your love shine through me and break the darkeness that lives within me, that unravels bondage and chains that hold. Let your love go beyond and reach the deepest part of me."


My friends, this year I encourage you to LOVE. Love the way Jesus did with everyone he came in contact with, let His Love shine through you, you'll never know what an impact you'll make on others. Jesus took the love and passion from the manger to the cross. Though He was poor and nevered lived in a palace or had the nicest things (even though He was God) He decided to live His life by love, making the most impact that any man has ever had. He lived his Life to the fullest and finished strong on the precious cross. Amazing How much strengh Love can give you!


I pray that this year we will live life by showing the greatest Love of all. Let's make an impact through Love!
